Quantitative Characterization of Pore Structure of Carbonate Rocks Based on Micron-CT Technique and Its Seepage Simulation

چکیده

Micron-CT technology can make up for many shortcomings of traditional rock physics experiments and provide a new platform research. In this paper, 3D digital core model with realistic pore structure characteristics was established using micron-CT scanning combined advanced image processing techniques carbonate rocks as the research object. Various morphological algorithms included in software (Avizo) are applied to quantify characterize cores, obtain total porosity, effective throat equivalent radius distribution, establish an network model. The absolute permeability experiment module realize simulation seepage on micron scale calculate permeability. This paper enriches existing petrophysical tools by applying (Avizo), which is great significance deepen understanding hydrocarbon storage transport mechanisms inside reservoir.
